The Pros:Design makes installation easy even for the unfamiliar. Processor and stock fan run quietly. Great value for the performance.

The Enhanced Intel Speedstep technology enables high performance within the CPU, while also helping to conserve the energy used. The processor also uses a security method called Execute Disable Bit, which provides a hardware based feature which reduces exposure to viruses and malicious code. The Intel Virtualization technology allows for maximum system utilization, letting the CPU process data more efficiently. When compared to another CPU by Intel, the Core i7-870s, the Core i5-760 has some disadvantages, including the lack of certain technologies (such as Hyper-Threading). It does however, have a higher clock speed (2.80GHz versus 2.66GHz).

#intel_core_i5_760 I just ordered one of these, looking forward to see how will it go. I'm replacing my Core 2 Quad Q6600 with it so I don't expect any miracles. As far as I can tell from numerous reviews I've read - that is a one kick-ass product and I'm anxious to see it and use it!
