The Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200 is a 2.2 GHz processor part of the Pentium Dual-Core (Allendale) lineup of processors released in June 2007. The Dual-Core line is based on the same 65 nm architecture as the Core 2 Duo line of processors, but is marketed as a more low-cost alternative to the Core 2 Duos, to compete with the low cost AMD dual core CPUs found in the AMD Athlon 64 X2 line.
