The Iomega Double USB hard drives come preformatted using the FAT32 file system and are ready to plug and play. Each Iomega Double USB hard drive comes with Two SATA hard drives linked up. It doesn't appear as two hard drives on the computer, just one. This makes it easier to have a large, more reliable external storage than just purchasing a very large single hard drive. The Iomega Double USB hard drive comes in various sizes from the sizable 160GB up to an ample 2 TB. It has up to 8MB cache buffer, a JBOD volume configuration, 7200 RPM, and is compatible with PCs (Pentium II class or higher) and Macs (OS X, version 10.1.5 or higher).
