The Iomega Prestige Portable is a pocket sized external hard drive that is designed to be durable despite any clumsy owner. It features the Iomega Drop Shock feature and a aluminum construct, both contributing to make it resistant to falls. It comes in three different size capacities, 160GB, 250GB, 320GB and 500GB. It is plug and play, which means it is ready to go right out of the box and it doesn't require an AC adaptor. Compatible with both USB 2.0 and 1.1, the Iomega Prestige portable has a transfer rate of 480 Mbits/s and comes with the ability to download management software. EMC Retrospect Express or Retrospect Express HD are the backup management software offered to help less comptuer savvy consumers manage their new device.
