Iomega REV 70GB USB 2.0 Drive
The Iomega REV 70GB USB drive doubles the capacity of their previously released 35GB capacity drive. This drive is designed as a faster and more reliabled backup solution to tape drives for mission critical, long term backup strategies. The Iomega REV 70GB uses removable 70GB "REV" disks as its storage medium, which the manufacturer claims is up to 10X faster, half the price and more reliable than tape drives, and while also being more durable and expandable than disk drives.

Details
While this drive can be used to expand your storage capacity, it is not recommended because of the steep price point. As an example, you could buy three internal 300 GB hard drives, giving you almost 1 TB of storage capacity ($0.67 / GB), for about $600, the price of one REV with 70GB capacity. REV 70GB disks run about $69 apiece and are available in four packs for $250, that works out to approximately $0.90 / GB.
Each drive comes with one 70GB REV disk, a USB 2.0 cable, software, documentation, and a three year manufacturer's warranty.
