The Iomega ScreenPlay Pro is a network storage device and multimedia streamer enabling TV playback of audio, video, and picture files. With ethernet connectivity, it can access media stored on PC through a home network as well as via USB. The drive features 1 TB of storage capacity, enough for 1500 hours of DVD-quality video or 18,500 hours of 128Kbps MP3 audio. The device connects to a TV or home theater system via composite, component, or HDMI for high-definition video playback. It can also record directly from a cable box, camera, or VCR. Compared to the basic Screenplay, Iomega's ScreenPlay Pro offers twice the storage and adds an integrated DVR and ethernet connectivity. A Wi-Fi adapter, available separately, enables the device to connect wirelessly to a home network.
