It comes with multiple connections, such as one eSATA port, two 1394b FireWire 800 ports, one 1394a FireWire 400 port, one USB 2.0 port, and has transfer rates of up to 3GB/sec. It comes loaded with space no matter which version you buy. The smallest is 500GB, the middle option 750GB and the largest option available is a massive 1TB. The Iomega UltraMax Hard Drive comes preformatted in HFS+ which is ideal for Macs, but that also means it will need to be reformatted to use with a PC (instructions on how to do that are included).
