"It appears that root access through ssh is possible. It is necessary to crack the root password to do so. This is not difficult, you find the recipe, even the password, on google. But you are at the mercy of a change of mind from iomega at the next firmware upgrade. Not an enormous CON argument, but I would not put it in the PROS still."
