"We just bought the Malm bed in dark brown from IKEA. I love the design, but it did not fit our king size mattress. What is the deal with that? Shouldn't it be a standard size frame to fit mattresses from other maker's as well? does anyone know?"

Hi was your mattress too big or too small for the Malm. We are interested in a bed for my parents and are buying the mattress elsewhere.
