Light weight aluminum, geared a little lower than my old Schwinn, great ride and looks. Of course to my nineteen year old son it's dorky. It really has two speeds: sitting down and standing up! While cranking up a hill standing up its like doing leg bench presses and works your arms too. Balloon tire bombers forever!
