Jaybird Endorphin Rush
$100.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Durable Cable Design. Thick Cord. Reinforced L-Plug.
The Cons:Large Earpieces. The cable is too long for using with an armband case. Doesn't include a microphone.
The Jaybird Endorphin Rush is one of two pairs of earbud headphones announced at CES2010 and geared towards fitness-minded users. It features the same titanium drivers as the Tiger Eyes but lacks a microphone; more importantly, though, the Endorphin is designed to be fitted before putting on a t-shirt, therefore helping keep the cable wires from becoming entangled in one’s clothes.

Included with the earphones is a pair of earhooks, which can be snapped onto the cable to help keep the earbud locked into place while engaging in exercise. Critics hail the Endorphin Rush as impressive for its price, especially considering its wide-array of highly touted features: an exceptionally thick cable, a slider for preventing tangles, a reinforced L-plug with a long lifespan, a lifetime warranty against water damage (including sweat), and a batch of useful accessories.
