"With regard the Con saying their won't be publicly available firmware updates, I decided to ask Onkyo directly. Here's the response I got: "Jeffery, At this time there are no firmware updates for the TX-NR906. Should any become available it is based on the needs as to whether the customer can do it or if it needs to be done by the authorized service center. Bob E.""

"Just bought the 46" XBR8 on Saturday and set it up. Had to go out of town on Monday, but at least I brought the manual and read it on the flight. :)"

"Any information about: 1) Will it support 24p input? 2) It does support xvYCC (expanding the overall color gamut), but does it support Deep Color (increasing the available bit depth for each color component, say up to 10 bit color)? I've got a PS3 and anticipate games with this technology soon. 3) Has anyone seen the Ultra Clear Panel yet? The 750 has a very reflective surface (like a plasma) and the 950 is supposed to reduce the reflectivity. I was curious how much the reflectivity is reduced. Thanks"
