The JL Audio G4500 is a class A/B four-channel amplifier based on an Absolute Symmetry class A/B circuit. The G4500 is the only four-channel amp in the G series, and is in direction competition with the Audio Slash V2’s 300/4v2 and 450/4v2, and the Audio HD’s HD600/4. The G4500 maintains lower power (125w per channel max versus 150/300) and an inferior frequency response (10Hz-25kHz versus 5Hz-30kHz), but supports the same damping factor (>200 @ 4 ohm). The G4500 also comes equipped with fully-variable on-board crossovers and differential-balanced inputs. Priced at $349.99, the JL Audio G4500 offers tremendous savings versus the $559.99 300/4v2, the $699.99 HD600/4, and the egregiously expensive $849.99 450/4v2, while still maintaining almost the same functionality and capability.

Pros
- half the price for all of the same features
- 10-25000Hz frequency response is still very good
- adjustable crossover for fine tuning a custom system (2 options, apply separate settings to two pairs of speakers)
- protection circuitry with status indicator lights
