JungleDisk is an application that allows you to store, host and backup files using Amazon's S3 Simple Storage Web Service on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux based operating systems. The application is free to try for 30 days, and $20 to register for unlimited installation licenses and future upgrades. The storage itself is billed by Amazon, and is priced at an affordable $0.15 / GB-month, and $0.20 / GB transferred. So for example, if you transferred and stored 10 GB for one year, the cost would be $20 (10 GB x $0.15 x 12 mths + 10 GB x $0.20). Access to your online storage can be mapped to a local drive, making storing and retrieving files very easy.
