The JVC DLA-HD1 is a full HD front projector, capable of displaying images at a 1920x1080 resolution. The DLA-HD1 features a 15000:1 contrast ratio using JVC’s patented D-ILA technology. The D-ILA technology used by JVC is a form of LCD that reduces what is called "Screen door effect" which allows for clearer images. This projector also displays with a brightness of 700 lumens, and has a X2 zoom lens. The JVC DLA-HD1 connects via its Component, Composite, S-Video and two HDMI inputs, as well as its RS-232C D-Sub 9pin connector. Available June 2007, the JVC DLA-HD1 retails at $5500. The HD1 is the consumer focused version of the JVC DLA-RS1, though the specifications are identifical.
