The GZ-MS100 was the base model in JVC's Everio line of camcorders, now replaced by the JVC Everio GZ-MS120. The compact MS100 utilizes a 680K-resolution CMOS sensor and a Konica Minolta lens with 35x optical zoom and 800x digital zoom. Image stabilization is solely digital, however, so a tripod is required for quality recording using optical zoom. It records standard-definition, MPEG-2 video to an SD or SDHC memory card, and features Windows-only one-touch upload to YouTube. The camcorder also features a 2.7-inch 16:9 LCD display.
