JVC's Picsio GC-FM1 is the company's first pocket videocamera, and is capable of 1080p video recording and 8 megapixel still images. Its LCD screen measures 2-inches diagonal and the frame design is stylish and comes in a variety of colors. The North American release for this model is still not set, though it has already been released in Japan and will likely show up in the 4th quarter of 2009 or 1st quarter 2010. Known features include compatibility with SD and SDHC cards (not included) and nearly 100 minutes of use per charge, using a lithium-ion battery. It also definitely has an HD-out using an HDMI cable.
