The JVC TH-C30 is a 1000 watt 5.1 home theater system in a box offered by JVC. The system is comprised of a 5.1 channel AV receiver / 5-disc DVD player, a 167 watt subwoofer, one 167 watt 2-way center channel speaker, two 167 watt 2-way front speakers and two 167 watt rear-surround speakers. The 5-disc DVD player can play a variety of disc formats including CD, DVD, recordable CD/DVD discs, VCD/WMA/MP3/JPEG discs and DVD-Audio discs and has MPEG-4 and DivX capabilities. It also has a USB host funtion to enjoy content off a digital audio player or mass storage device. It has Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II decoding to give a true home theater experience with 5.1 surround sound. There is a progressive scan component output for high quality video and has inputs for an additional video source with an AV input, and a digital audio source with an optical audio input. The JVC TH-C30 also features an AM/FM stereo tuner and comes with a remote control.
