JVC UX-LP5

The JVC UX-LP5 is a micro shelf system designed for audio playback. This device features support for MP3 & WMA files with tags, CD-R/RWs and AM/FM radio. An iPod "flip dock" is built into the unit, which is hidden until users gently press on the door. Users can also plug in their own devices through an audio-in port on the front. With 70 watts of total power, this micro system implements 2-way speakers with bass reflex technology. Bass and treble can be controlled independently with onboard tone controls. For users who like the most bass possible from their music, the "Active Hyper-Bass PRO" system should be more than adequate. The JVC UX-LP5 also features a 1-bit D/A converter for accurate reproduction of recorded audio. A card-type remote control is also included.
