The Kenmore 1359 is not one of Kenmore's energy star qualified dishwashers, which mean that even though they advertise it as using less energy and water, it in fact uses more than any of the energy star qualified washers. It has a standard sized tub, but the cup shelf has space to stack two levels of cups and the silverware basket pulls apart to allow more space in the lower rack. The Kenmore 1359 has the QuietGuard Standard sound insulation which makes it quieter, with just 60dBA. It has a pots/pans cycle for heavier, dirtier loads. It comes with four different color options: stainless steel, black, white and bisque.
