The Pros:Surprisingly decent bass quality--lows sound clear and fairly resonant. Adjustable bass and treble levels--something not too often seen from iPod docks. Remarkable volume levels for an iPod dock--can be used comfortably in larger rooms and loud environments.
The Cons:Limited portability--no battery options whatsoever. Features a fairly bulky power brick, especially for an iPod dock. Ugly visual aesthetic--plasticky, angular and cheap looking.
The Kicker iKICK iK501 is a docking station that is compatible with the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and 4th generation or newer iPods. It comes equipped with a variety of features including a thin infrared remote, a rotary knob, and a minijack input.

The iKICK iK501 comes equipped with a thin infrared remote helps to navigate through the iK501 system menu, as well as through the iPhone or iPod menus and sub-menus. The iK501 also comes with a rotary knob which manually serves as power and selection push button, and controller for bass, treble, and auxillary-input options. This model also features a minijack input that allows for a hookup to stereo sound and alternate media sources, like CD players, MP3 players, computers or satellite radios.
