The Kingston KHX1600C9D3B1K2/4GX model is a mod to low end 4GB (2GB x 2) DDR3 1600MHz memory upgrade kit for high performance and gaming desktop builds. The 4GX memory kit includes a non-ECC or non-parity correction code setting, and a 240 pin DIMM gold contact area.

The Kingston KHX1600C9D3B1K2/4GX memory kit comes with 2 x 2GB sticks of RAM which can be used in a dual channel configuration. The 4GX memory modules are part of Kingston's HyperX Blu series which are designed with a unique heat spreader cooling system and "streamlined" or thin fitting body design. The entire HyperX line of memory, including the 4GX model, include a special overclocked mode which allows the memory to operate at the rated 1600MHz speed, otherwise the memory runs by default at 1333MHz. The KHX1600C9D3B1K2/4GX memory have a latency timing of 9-9-9-27 and an overclocked voltage of 1.65v and a default voltage of 1.5v.
