Klipsch RB-61

The Klipsch RB-61 are bookshelf speakers sold as pairs for around $450 as part of the Klipsch Synergy line. They feature a 6.5" Cerametallic cone woofer with an inverted copper dust surface to the increase stiffness-to-mass ratio and a 1" Titanium diaphragm mated with a 90 x 60 square Tractrix Horn for the high frequency driver. It also features a front-firing port designed to reduce turbulent noise, and not limit the speaker placement inside cabinetry or next to a wall. The step-up model Klipsch RB-81 retails for $700 (sold as a pair, but can be often sold individually so be aware) and features an 8" mid-range, and the step-down Klipsch RB-51 retails for $350 and features a 5.25" mid-range driver.
