"MR-16 12v 50w halogen pretty sure that is the part number. same as the one it uses just higher wattage, remember the higher the watts the higher the heat."

"I read on some site that they got 50w bulb from walmart and it worked a lot better as far as brightness, only problem would be any warranty issues would be void if you used the brighter bulb. If you are not worried about warranty then try that. Also I'm sure there is a full spectrum more

i should probably do the same lol. but it works decent with xbmc for just visualizations and such
