Bound to show fingerprints and any tiny module of dust, this desktop external hard drive is great for a professional who wants modern looking electronic equipment in their office. It contains a smart fan cooling system to keep the device efficient but still quiet. It includes USB 2.0, eSATA and Firewire 400 ports for I/O connectivity and is ready to go with either a PC or Mac with a simple plug and play setup. The LaCie Hard Disk comes pre-formatted but also allows the user to customize its formatting on their own. It comes with LaCie '1-Click' Backup Software that will work on both PCs and Macs, which helps the user handle use their new desktop hard drive as a integrated backup system.
