LaCie Rugged Safe

$200.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Includes FW 400 to 800 cable, good for Widnows PC users where FW400 is more common on laptops. Rugged casing that can take a few bumps and knocks. The finger print reader software is on the drive, no external software required.

The Cons:Disappointing to see that only the top and bottom of the case is made from aluminium, the sides are all plastic. Strange to find that transfer rates in Mac OS X is better than Windows.
