It Don't Matter if it's Black or White

Famous words from our old friend Michael Jackson, but in the fashion world that's not really the case now is it?  The obvious answer to my question that will be posed, is both, but for those such as myself who are of limited funds and can only choose one, what do you go with?

Both go with a wide array and variety of clothing, and are flexible enough to suit a number of social occassions.  And one might be tempted to choose the white for its boldness, I share that same sentiment.  However, I have a nagging problem with this thing called dirt and everything that is white attracts dirt like.. something that attracts things, a magnet?

I tend to like black shoes better than white, but in this case, the white pair definitely looks better.

But what I'm much more curious about is this magical "dirt magnet" that you speak of.
