Certainly one of the best multi-tools ever made, the Leatherman Charge TTi manages to replace two discontinued Charge tools, the Ti (w/scissors) and XTI (with cutting hook), by combining the features of both. The externally accessible clip-point knife is now made of S30V stainless steel, a grade better than the 154CM stainless used on the Ti/XTi and the new Charge AL/ALX blades.

The handles of the TTi, like the Ti and XTi before it, are made of sculpted titanium, which is both more durable and slightly lighter weight than the aerospace-grade 6061-T6, heat-treated and hard-anodized aluminum alloy handles on the AL and ALX models. All Charge models use bronze for their bushings to guarantee easy (but not floppy) and consistent tool opening. The outside tools/blades lock individually and securely.
All models include a kit containing 8 double-ended bits made of tool steel, and sized from a tiny eyeglass-repair screwdriver up to and including 5/32" hex and 3/16" flat screwdrivers. The two bit drivers themselves are included among the tools inside the Charges. They also come with a quick-release lanyard ring (but no lanyard) and pocket-clip, although quite a strong neck and rigid pockets would be advisable. An optional multi-tool bit kit is available with 21 additional double-ended bits on two more plastic bit carriers, along with their own carrying case. As with most of the high-end Leatherman knives and tools, you have your choice between leather and nylon pouches designed to hold both the tool (open or closed) and its included bits. Just whatever you do, don't accidentally drop this in a carry-on bag and have it confiscated at the airport! If you must carry one at all times, Leatherman offers a knifeless Fuse multi-tool for you.
