Introduced on November 18th 2008, Left 4 Dead is an online zombie survival game by Valve. Based on the source engine, the online multiplayer aspect is the main attraction on the game - pitting 4 user survivors of a zombie apocalypse against hoards of zombie cannon fodder and 4 "infected" super mutants - also played by real people. The point of the game is for the survivors to make their way across the map as fast as possible without dying - due to the fact that amunition and health supplies are in limited supply, while zombie players main objectives are to stop them.
