LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Mermaid

$24.99 Released May, 2011

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Unique hair piece much prettier than most LEGO hair. Lower fish body is rare, nothing like it in any other LEGO series. Stands up solidly on a flat bottom, doesn't fall over.

The Cons:Need to pop off the hair to switch faces, not a real smooth transition when you're playing out an imaginary scenario. Odd sized body shape makes it hard to fit in with other LEGO sets or small constructions.

The LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Mermaid is one of the unique mini figures from the LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean series of character pieces. This blonde-haired piece is available exclusively in the Whitecap Bay Ship Set 4194, along with the brunette Syrena Mermaid figure.

Featuring a double sided head, this character offers both an angry grimace with scales around her face, and also a seductive smile with smooth skin. Being equipped with a new moulded fish tail piece that allows the character to stand as a traditional LEGO figure makes this piece unique among the many varieties of sets.  Additionally, with the torso and back being printed in a light flesh colour with fish scales, and a scale design on the front of the tail, as well as a seaweed whip accessory, this mini figure captures many of the features of the original movie character.
