The Leica C-LUX 2 is a pocket-sized 7.2 megapixel digital camera offered by Leica as a replacement to the C-LUX 1. This camera is very similar in design to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX30 using the same hardware. It has a sleek metal design, weights 5.4 oz. and features a 3.6x zoom Leica Vario-Elmarit DC lens with a true wide-angle setting of 28mm. It has a 2.5" LCD screen to view what you are shooting and review shots you have already taken. It features Panasonic's Venus III processing engine and has 21 scene modes for great shots in virtually any environment. There are several shooting modes including macro mode, normal, easy mode and an intelligent ISO shooting mode, which bumps up the ISO speed in low-light situations, and it is capable of shooting 30fps VGA video. Other features include two image stabilization modes and an auto-focus assist beam.
