Lenovo G555

$450.00 Released March, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Affordable price point. ATI graphics - superior to the onboard equivalent from Intel. Fast enough for the majority of consumers.

The Cons:Touchpad is easily hit accidentally while typing - causing very irritating errors. Control key is supplanted by the function key (as found on all other Lenovo laptops). No digital video output (HDMI / DisplayPort).

The Lenovo G555 is one of two AMD-based budget laptops (G455, G555) released in March 2010. Both models support the latest ATI graphics, as well as AMD Turion and Athlon processors up to a Turion II Dual-Core.

As of February 2010, the differences between the G455 and the G555 models have yet to be revealed, although it is likely that they merely boast different screen sizes.
