Lenovo IdeaCentre A300
$700.00
Released February, 2010
The Pros:Slick aesthetic design. All-in-one PC design with 21.5" display - great for when space is an issue. Comes with Windows 7.
The Cons:Costs a premium for previous generation and lower performance mobile components. Only sports a 21.5" display - poor for media consumption unless in a very small space. Horizontal computer base still requires a fair bit of room on a table - just wasted space compared to vertically oriented options.
The Lenovo IdeaCentre A300 is an all-in-one desktop computer with average functionality and specifications set for release in February, 2010. An all-in-one desktop deviates from the traditional tower case and monitor set and instead presents a desktop computer built within the limitations of the monitor and the stand that hold it together.

The intended design is to have a smaller, slimmer, complete computer rather than multiple parts and a monitor; the IdeaCentre A300 contains all of its parts within the 21.5" monitor and includes a hard drive in the stand beneath it, and is regarded at the thinnest all-in-one model available at the time of its release. The computer is capable of running most programs used by the average home or business user, including some gaming applications; however, it is not capable of running high-end gaming programs, and does not contain the necessary quality of parts to run recently released games even the lowest settings. The system includes Bluetooth capability and uses it to communicate with an included wireless keyboard and mouse. Two speakers are also integrated into the system for sound without additional external speakers.

lots of glossy plastic - doesn't measure up to the competition, especially for the price
