Introduced in late May 2009 the S12 is a 12" netbook from Lenovo. Further bluring the lines between full out notebook and handicapped netbook, the S12 features a 12" screen with 720p capable 1280 x 800px resolution. Similar to the Asus N10, higher priced configurations of the device will also see a more powerful Nvidia graphics chip - part of Nvidia's latest ION chipset - the 9400m, capable of outputting 720p high definition through the units display, or full 1080p high definition through an HDMI port. Shipping later in July, the S12 is priced from $449 with Intel graphics alone. The ION upgrade is expected to cost an additional $50.
