Lenovo IdeaPad Y510

The IdeaPad Y510 is a mainstream 15" laptop series from Lenovo marketed towards consumers who want good all around performance for media, gaming and basic applications without breaking the bank. Built to be fast and as full featured as the ThinkPad line, the Lenovo Y510 focuses on specifications that might be important to consumers over professionals, including large drives, descrete graphic cards, DVD writers, large screens with high resolutions and an abundance of ram. Built on the now outdated Centrino platform, it includes slightly older Core 2 Duos, and DDR2 ram. Unlike the Y710 series, a few of the cheaper Y510 models come with the Intel X3100 graphics chip, and even cheaper T2390 dual core pentiums. Similar to other IdeaPad laptops, Lenovo has reserved the option for heavy customization one has come to love and expect from the ThinkPad line.
