$60.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Turns any PC into an effective HTPC with fully functional remote keyboard and mouse. Lightweight. Solid construction.

The Cons:Glossy plastic finish picks up fingerprints and scratches easily. No Windows Media Center key. Noisy trackball - should have been a trackpad or trackpoint!

The Lenovo N5901 Wireless Mini Keyboard (57Y6336) is an ultra-compact, wireless keyboard featuring a keyboard and mouse (w/track ball). It uses a wireless USB dongle to allow for operation anywhere within 10 m or 32 ft of a PC.

Where to Buy

As well as being useful for “coach potatoes,” the N5901 is very versatile in that critics report that it works with any desktop—Windows 7, Vista, XP, Macbook Pro, etc. They also say it’s comfortable to hold and type with, but it isn’t recommended for more than just simple web browsing / emailing, as cramping can occur. Also missing is a Windows Media shortcut, though there are volume/playback controls. Plus navigation is a bit painful, as users must first scroll with the trackpad, then move their thumb over the correct mouse button. This means that scrolling or dragging a window typically require two hands.
