Lenovo ThinkPad L412

$649.00 Released May, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Eco-friendly - up to 30% of the body is made from reused consumer materials. Durable build quality up to the standard of any other in the ThinkPad line. Affordable price point.

The Cons:16:9 display aspect ratio - a very poor choice for business productivity over 16:10 with more vertical resolution, cheaper for Lenovo to purchase from LCD display manufacturers. Quite bulky and heavy (5.22 pounds). Not as solid or powerful as the higher ThinkPad lines.

The Thinkpad L412 is the 14'' offering from the new Thinkpad L series. It is aimed at the student and budget business notebook segment starting at a low price of $649. The Main selling point of the L series is the material of the notebooks: they are made from up to 30% post consumer content.
