This laptop differs from others in the updated T-series by having a nine-cell extended battery to provide up to 30 hours of use with a single charge depending on what tasks the laptop is performing. This allows the user to operate for much longer than most laptops between charge times. Despite the increase in battery life, key components have been upgraded to the new Intel i5 and i7 processors and a GeForce 4200M discrete GPU. The quality of these parts will allow the system to run multiple home and office programs simultaneously, and also run most games at the time of the system's release. Like the updated T420s model, this laptop has a 14-inch screen.
