The Lenovo ThinkPad X201S is one of three configuration options for the ThinkPad X201 released in March 2010. It builds from the original X201 by incorporating a stronger Intel Core i7 processor, as well as a slighter lighter and thinner frame.

Included also is a 160GB SATA HDD, a 4-Cell Li-Ion battery (upgradeable to 12-Cell), and Ethernet/802.11b/g/n connectivity. It also adds along Bluetooth wireless, while maintaining support for an optional WWAN module. Optional features include an optical drive, a fingerprint reader, a touchpad, and, of course, more RAM.
