The Lexmark X5495 is an all-in-one inkjet printer capable of printing, copying, faxing and scanning. It is capable of producing high quality prints with a print resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dpi, and can print up to 18 color pages per minute and 25 black pages per minute. It is capable of handling a wide variety of paper sizes, up to 8.5" x 17". There is a one-touch PC-free copy button, borderless photo copying, reduction/ enlargement capacity from 25% - 400% and it is capable of doing up to 99 copies at once at a rate of up to 20 cpm text and 10 cpm color. The flatbed scanner easily handles thick books, reports and much more with 48-bit color scanner depth and 16-bit greyscale with up to 600 x 1200 ppi optical resolution. It can also be used as a stand-alone B&W/color fax machine with 33.6 Kpbs modem speed. Some fax features include 89 speed dials, caller ID, automatic redial, fax forward and junk fax blocking.

This printer has an added feature of being able to print photos (JPGs) directly from digital memory card slots or PictBridge compatible digital cameras giving fast borderless photos and optional 6-color printing gives brilliant photos. The included Lexmark Productivity Studio Software makes it easy to crop, rotate and resize photos, adjust color and reduce red eye and apply a variety of photo effects. The scanner easily scans to PDF and the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software allows you to easily scan hard copy text documents into a soft copy format.
