I've had the LG for almost 2 days now, the LCD display is stunning, its connectivity is amazing, and so far everything works as expected. I selected the LG because I wanted to cover every possible HDTV source (cablecard, QAM, and ATSC) only to find that in my location the cheapest rabbit ear brought in most stations fine. Upgrading to a powered amplified antenna fixed the remaining signal issues. Not even going to bother with outside antenna or cable for now. There are so many features in this set that it will be a while before I have the remote controlling everything and all cables cleaned up. Conclusion, a great TV for the money. No disapointments so far.

That sounds awesome. How does standard definition content look on the TV? I know LG has their XD Engine technology which is supposed to be very good at upscaling the lower resolutions, does it really work as advertised?
