LG 47LX6500

$2,700.00 Released May, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:2D picture is great out of the box before any fine tuning. Colors are vibrant and distinct. Fast-moving video is rapidly updated with no blur or ghosting.

The Cons:3D pictures can seem like they are blurring unless users remember to press the "left/right" button. No RCA audio output for home theater systems.

The LG 47LX6500 is one of two 3D-Ready, backlit LED HDTVs (47LX6500, 55LX6500) released in May 2010. Both units offer a full 1080p resolution laced with a 8,000,000:1 contrast rate. Unfortunately the “astonishing” 3D effects require separately purchased 3D glasses.

Nevertheless, the smaller 47LX6500 is loaded with an abundance of advanced features, including integrated Ethernet connectivity for accessing NetCast Entertainment subscription services like Yahoo Tv Widgets, Netflix, Vudu and Picasa; TrueMotion 240Hz technology for keeping up with fast-moving, Blu-ray disc movie scenes; and expert screen calibrations via Picture Wizard II. More importantly, the LG 47LX6500 is WiFi ready (Wireless media kit required) and DLNA certified, which means users can access/transfer files between their TV and their computer.
