The LG 55LHX is a 55" Full 1080p LCD HDTV and is LG's flagship model from their 2009 lineup. The series features an ultra-fast 240 Hz refresh rate along with LG's LED backlighting and local dimming and a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for superior picture quality and seamless picture processing. It utilizes an uncompressed wireless system which allows Full HD 1080p transmission from a separate media box, eliminating wires and cables and making it possible to place the TV in a wider variety of places. The 55LHX includes a variety of inputs and outputs including 5 HDMI inputs and a USB port for access to digital music and photos. It is designed with an ultra-thin panel which is less than 1" wide and has an intelligent room lighting sensor for higher energy conservation. The TV comes with a stand and wall mount and is expected to be released in Spring 2009. The 55LHX differs from LG's second best LH90 series since the LH90 series lacks it's uncompressed wireless system and ultra-slim design.
