LG Chocolate VX8500

Available exclusively through Verizon Wireless, the LG Chocolate looks to take on the RAZR as the phone-du-jour. The chocolate is a high-end phone with substantial multimedia capabilities including 3D gaming. A circular touchwheel is meant to evoke iPod-comparisons as the phone ships with a large prepopulated memory card capable of storing 1000 songs. Verizon users also get free access (down from $15/month) to the on demand music store.

Looks pretty sleek. Why chocolate?

It's chocolate because the color is so deep brown that it's chocolate. In reality it looks black not brown. Looks good to me, I think I'll pick one up.

Oh yeah, and chocolate is easier to remember than VX8500. Lame

It's black. I have one, and I really like it. Have had one for a while now, actually. Yearish. Bought it for strong design, and I felt like I should have done my hair or something. :P

Seriously, I love this phone. It works well, and is way more durable than most of the crap out there now.

My friend has one, and overall was pretty happy with it but had some reliability issues that annoyed him too much in the end. My RAZR is actually a hunk of junk and hanging by a thread, so I'm probably going to be borrowing his Chocolate. So I'll see how it goes with my own personal experience, keeping in mind his is already busted up.
