The Cons:Secondary USB power connection does not have a long cable, may not reach necessary USB ports. Does not startup during boot if connected to a USB 3.0 port.

The LG GP08LU30 is a portable DVD and CD drive built with a slim profile. This drive connects to a PC externally through a USB 2.0 connection, and features a slim build to make it easy to carry and store.

1Mb of memory is built in to account for slow or temporarily interrupted data transfers while burning, allowing the burning process to continue while data continues to be sent by the PC. Disc writing is possible at 8x speed to a DVD or 24x speed to a CD. LightScribe discs can be labelled directly using compatible software.
