Released August, 2010
The Pros:Very light, can put it in a shirt pocket comfortably. Buttons are large and easy to work with. Durable construction can handle being dropped a few times.
The Cons:Some find it hard to find the seam to flip it opened.
The LG GS170 is the most basic of three phones (the other two being the LG dLite and the LG Sentio) that mark LG's first time pairing up with provider T-Mobile. The GS170 is a standard flip phone with a colour display, Bluetooth 2.1 support as well as a VGA camera.

The GS170's Bluetooth 2.1 compatibility allows it to be synced up with other Bluetooth capable devices, such as a laptop, for quick data sharing. Its 0.3 megapixel VGA camera allows for quick on-the-go photos but at a resolution that makes them impractical for anything but the GS170's small colour display.
