The Cons:Ear loop is flimsy and delicate. Weakest link is ear loop. Cheap plastic, not well fitting. Ditto the headset itself. Better than most in performance, however. Depending on shape of the ear, may never feel quite secure.
The LG HBM-570 is a Bluetooth headset from LG new in 2010. This is a relatively inexpensive add-on to a Bluetooth 2.1 EDR-enabled mobile device. The Name Alert technology of this headset speaks out the caller ID information of each call, so that you don't have to pull out your cell phone (cell phone is the recommended usage for this headset) to find out.

The echo cancellation feature here can be helpful, since excessive echo is often a problem with mobile devices. This echo cancellation along with the dual mic, which helps to eliminate excess noise, should make the LG HBM-570 a clearer alternative to previous Bluetooth headsets. The LG HBM-570 also comes with a rechargeable headset battery, which you can recharge at the same time as your cell phone. There are up to 5 hours of run time on this rechargeable battery.

#lg_hbm_570 I have this nit and I am very satisfied with it. You ARE completely correct in that the ear loop that came with the unit was cheap and I had two that broke I contacted LG and asked for a replacement. They must have had others complain about the loop and they sent me a redesigned loop that I have had for about 2 months now and it is great. If you are having problems with the loop, contact them for a new one.
