The LG INFINIA 50PX950 is a 50-inch Plasma HDTV released in September, 2010. This 2.1-inches thin television prominently features 3D certification from THX, the first HDTV to receive such an accreditation according to the manufacturer.

The 50-inch 50PX950 is virtually identical to the upgraded 60-inch 60PX950, the key difference being 10-inches of extra viewing space for approximately $1000 more. In terms of 3D capabilities, the INFINIA PX950 is capable of 600Hz max sub-field driving, meaning 3D will look its best in fast action programing such as sports and movies. An Ethernet LAN connection is built in, allowing for Netflix, VUDU, YouTube and DLNA HD video streaming. Picasa web albums are also accessible, and Yahoo widgets can be installed to get instant weather reports or news headlines.
