The LG LHT888 is a home theater system offered by LG whose elegent design will add a touch of class to any room. The front and rear speakers are inspired by the slim and elegant shape of a champagne glass making these speakers a piece of home decor as much as a part of your sound system. The LG LHT854 comprises of a DVD player, 200W subwoofer, 100W table top center channel and four 100W "champagne" floor-standing satellite speakers. It has superior audio performance tuned by Mr. Mark Levinson and has 1080p up-scaling video via HDMI for visuals to match. It has a USB port to easily connect to other media devices and has LG SimpLink to connect to other LG devices with the HDMI port. Another nice feature is wireless rear speakers for an easy setup and clean look. The DVD player is capable of playing virtually any disc type and can play MP3, WMA, DivX and MPEG4 files. Audio capabilities include XTS Pro, DTS decoding and Dolby 5.1, prologic II and digital 2 channel down mix. There are several inputs/outpus including HDMI, component, composite, mini stereo jack and optical digital. The LG LHT888 comes with remote control (w/ batteries), video cable and AM/FM antennas.
