The Pros:LCD electronic display. SpinSense anti-vibration calibrator. 9 wash programs/5 temperature settings/13 wash options.

The Cons:Door can't be reversed left/right - even though the washer door can. Very big..requires a good sized laundry room, especially if you include pedestals. Fairly pricey if you don't get it on sale.

The LG WM3001HRA is an ultra capacity front loading steam washer that uses a direct drive motor which comes with a ten year warranty, while the 4.5 cubic ft stainless steel tub has a lifetime warranty.

An extra sized square door is included similar to the cheaper WM2801HRA, although this machine has a large LCD display screen instead of LED and an added stain cycle and a system to further calibrate and reduce vibration called SpinSense. 9 wash programs can be selected using the Dial-A-Cycle, and 5 wash/rinse temperatures and 13 wash options may also be selected from the front panel. SteamFresh is a 20 minute cycle that can freshen up to 5 garments when in a hurry, and the Allergiene cycle removes over 95% of household allergens from clothes and has been NSF approved. LoDecibel is LG's patented system which provides quiet operation in any room of the house, along with their TrueBalance anti-vibration system. Many LG washers including this one employ an energy saving system called SenseClean as well as a Wash/Rinse Optimizer, both of which automatically adjust water level and cycle time by calculating the weight of the load, detergent level and water softness.
